First of all, congrats to our Men's and Women's basketball teams that both advanced into the playoffs! Great job guys.
We are tying to get the word out about our fundraising efforts via Hudl. Please read the following information about how to help our program have Hudl pay for itself.
Hudl Fundraising has been started for Belleville West High School's Boys Varsity Football team.
What is Fundraising?
•A way to give your fans more film options
•A way to help pay for Hudl
Getting started with DVD fundraising:
1.Get everyone involved in creating highlights. Put some time into making team and athlete highlights.
2.Spread the word! Share your team page on facebook, let everyone know at practice, or send an email to your parents, family, and booster club.
Our fundraising goal has been set to the cost of your Hudl subscription. We will be able to use the Hudl credits you earn to pay for our account.
Only Players and coaches can order full game DVDs initially. If you want to open up full game DVD ordering to people outside of the team, we have two options for you:
•You can share full games with everyone, OR
•Select a password to share with people you want to have access to full games.
Hudl is a very important tool for our program in terms of film study for our players and coaches. By using this fundraising feature, we can help off set the cost of the yearly subscription for the service. Plus, parents and family will have access to nice, professional looking highlights and game films!
Ask your son to log onto his Hudl account and show you what it's all about, or visit http://www.hudl.com/ and take a look at what this service provides.
IMPORTANT: Seniors, you will only have access to Hudl until early June. After that you won't be able to access Hudl for any game film or highlights as we have to change access to next years roster. Make sure you order all film, or send out links to recruiters before you lose access!!
Reminder: Our Summer calender has been posted on this website and our summer practice schedule has been set. If you have any questions or concerns pleast contact Coach Pettus at cpettus@bths.org.
Spring is in full effect and we have many players that are also participating in our Baseball and track programs. Again, we always encourage our guys to play as many sports as they can. We feel it is important to stay in a competetive enviroment and to keep working on your athletisim. We also have a great group of guys coming in a participating in our Breakfast Club. Our program is really growing and the comittment shown by a large number of our players is very encouraging. As a staff, we are excited to come in every day and work with such a great and motivated group of kids. All of us, coaches and players, understand that the hard work that we put in during the offseason translates to wins on Friday nights.
Again, good luck to our spring athletes and it's not too late for players to start showing up to our morning workouts. Breakfast club runs Monday through Thursday from 7:30 to 8:05.
Prospective Players: We don't care if you've never played football, or have never played for Belleville West. If you are a student here and are thinking about playing please talk to one of the coaches so that we can get you the information you need to become a part of our program. We are always looking to get the best players/athletes from our school on the field. Stop by and talk to Coach Pettus or any of our staff around school.
It's a great day to be a Maroon!!
