This Friday night the Belleville West Maroons travel east to Evansville Indiana to take on Memorial High School. This is the third year in a row that the Maroons and Tigers will face off with both teams winning their respective home games.
Memorial defeated West 21-19 in 2011 in a "Throwback" game that was played at Bosse Field, a minor league baseball stadium that used to host high school football games. This year the teams will play at Memorials normal home stadium which is located at Harrison High School in Evansville Indiana. West won last year 35-0 in their first home game of the 2012 season. This is the "rubber match" between the two teams.
"I'm just excited to get the season going after all of the hard work we've put in over the summer" said West head coach Cameron Pettus.
