Belleville West Football kicked off the first day of fall camp today. "The varsity players picked right up where they left off in the summer...a little rust but overall a great day." The varsity players practiced in the morning. The freshman players reported in mid morning and got evaluated and coached by the varsity coaches. "Its always great to see what will be coming in, really enjoyed working with the freshman." Coach Pettus said with a smile after the practice. "Excellent numbers and really liked how well they listened to instruction and worked during drills. The future is bright at Belleville West." Coach Pettus seemed pleased but knows there is a lot of work to do. He mentioned how he can't wait for tomorrows practice "Nothing better than getting better."
