This week we had two great performances by two of our linebackers. It was hard to choose one over the other, so this week we have two players of the week.
Tori Millender
Tori returned to the lineup for West and made a big impact making 16 tackles (9 solos and 6 assists) and getting 4 sacks for the Maroons. Tori was almost unblockable while blitzing and even forced three bad snaps by Collinsville's center, two of which went through the back of the end zone for safties and one that was scooped up by fellow linebacker Pierre Gee-Tucker and returned 50 yards into Kahok territory setting up West's only Touchdown.

Pierre Gee-Tucker
Pierre had a big game against the Kahoks recording 16 tackles (11 solos and 5 assists) and adding 2 sacks and a fumble recovery on defense. Pierre also scooped a fumble and returned it 50 yards deep inside Kahok territory. He then caught a 3 yard touchdown pass from Kyle Leadlove from the Tight End position and pulled the Maroons within 6 points.
