What you need to know: The Southwestern Conference opener for two undefeated schools. O’Fallon (No. 2 large schools) picked up a forfeit win in Week 2, so the Panthers haven’t played in two weeks. Todd Porter threw for 175 yards and a touchdown and ran for 30 yards and a score in the season-opening win against Cahokia. ... Belleville West has posted 35-0 wins over Reitz Memorial and Althoff. LB Tori Millender (21 tackles, 3 sacks) has led the defense. Sophomore QB Sherand Boyd (244 passing) has rushed for 107 yards and team-high four TDs. Brian Hill has 163 yards rushing.
